Farewell to Cathy Dixon

It is with great sadness that I note that my dear former colleague and boss – Cathy Dixon – passed away several days ago. Cathy served as Corp Fin’s Chief Counsel when I worked for her and she was a legal dynamo. She was one of those rare lawyers who I worked with and thought “she is too smart to be doing this type of work.” Cathy really knew her stuff.

Besides being a brilliant lawyer, Cathy was a kind and compassionate person. In all the time that I worked with Cathy, I don’t recall her ever being upset about something. She always wore a smile. She took things in stride. We will miss her. My condolences to her family and loved ones.
